The Gate Art Collective presents Gate Modern the first of 4 exhibitions at 57a Goldhawk Road - located beside Goldhawk Road tube station. The exhibition will open on Tuesday 20th May at 2pm.
This exhibition includes works in both 3d and 2d depicting gallery maquettes and the idea of the structure in which art should be viewed. The work attempts to take on traditional ideas of exhibiting by stepping back from these structures and using them as the source for the work. Exploring the aesthetics of the museum and gallery.
